Enjoy Beer Garden with Beautiful Maiko
Here are two special places where you can enjoy great food and drinks with real maiko belonging to two of Kyoto's five Hanamachi flower towns. 
Shinmonso
Shinmonso is a fine Gion district ryokan, located in one of the most traditional and beautiful areas of Kyoto. Until 8/31, Shinmonso offers a special dinning plan in their Japanese-style beer garden. Spend an evening enjoying a fine meal while being entertained by a real maiko (talk with them, watch them dance, take photos of them). Dinner courses: Yosuzushi Course (2,625 yen) and Yumesuzumi Course (3,675 yen).
Kamishichiken Kaburenjo Theatre
The open-air beer garden is in the wonderful surroundings of the Kamishichiken Kaburenjo Theatre. Maiko and geiko in the area will be among your fellow guests (7/1-9/5; open: 17:30-22:00, closed Aug. 14-16).
