Making traditional Uji tea for 380 years
Traditionally, people in Kyoto drink a special green tea called “Oobuku-cha” to welcome the New Year, wishing for happiness and a healthy life. The head of Matsudatoukouen carefully selects tea leaves that are harvested in May and the best tea leaves are preciously kept until December.
