Winter's special ''Senmai-zuke'': From 1,050 yen
Senmai-zuke is one of the most typical Kyoto-style pickles using a large turnip called Shogoin Kabura. The turnips are sliced into incredibly thinly and pickled with our original method using first quality sea kelp from famous Rishiri, Hokkaido.
Japanese pickles richly contain food fiber as well as vitamin C. Japanese pickles are rich in lactobacillus and especially Aji-shiba (trademark registration) and suguki types are recommended for health-conscious people. More than 30 kinds of traditional Kyoto-style pickles (from 420yen) are available in our classical Japanese style building.
